Properties:
Its mechanical properties make Biondentine very similar to natural dentin, and may be used to substitute it in both the crown and the roots.
Biodentine™ contains mineral components and no monomers. You may insert it without preliminary cleaning any calsified tissues off.
Biodentine™ creates perfect conditions to support pulp vitality and that is by reliably sealing the dentin surface. This ensures that there will be no postoperative sensibility & guarantees durability of vital tooth restorations.
Within the coronary third:
- temporary restorative material for enamel;
- permanent restorative material for dentin;
- restorations for deep and/or wide cavities, in case of carious lesion (sandwich-technique);
- restorations for large cavities in the cervical and/or radicular area;
- pulp capping;

Within the radicular part::
